RBALabs DSP Control 1.1.1 — release notes © 2027 Real Big Audio Labs, LLC. All rights reserved. For the RBA480D FIR DSP speaker processor · macOS 13 or later · Apple Silicon and Intel Signed with Developer ID and notarized by Apple. 1.1.1 — protection and license • License Agreement on first launch: the app opens only after you click Agree (Help ▸ License Agreement shows it again). • New, complete license agreement (License.txt): ownership, use only with Real Big Audio Labs products, no copying, modifying, reverse engineering or bypassing protection, Georgia law. • Stronger tamper protection: debuggers can't attach, and the app re-checks itself while running (every few minutes and whenever it connects to a DSP). A modified, patched or re-signed copy shows "can't open" and quits. 1.1.0 New name • RBALabs DSP Console480 is now RBALabs DSP Control. Settings carry over; delete the old app after installing. Inputs • Every input has its own source: Analog, AES or Dante (before, inputs were set in pairs). • A source button on each input strip opens the input panel: Phase, Mute, Source and Test signal. • Right-click a channel name for Phase and Mute (and Source on inputs). EQ • The EQ graph spans the full page width and runs from 20 Hz to 20 kHz (all graphs now label 20 Hz and 20 kHz). • High-pass, low-pass and delay sit in one row under the graph. • All 15 input bands (10 output bands) fit the window at any size. Meters • Meters read in dBu, −48 to +20 (a −18 dBu test tone reads −18), matching the dBu thresholds. Green below +6, amber +6 to +14, red above +14, clip light at the +20 dBu maximum. Typing values • Clicking a value box selects the number, so what you type replaces it; Return or Enter applies it. Other • The sidebar shows "DSP Control" under the logo. • FIR filters: 256 or 512 taps (512 is the RBA480D's maximum). • About window: © 2027 Real Big Audio Labs, LLC; the app checks its own signature at launch.
