A 4-in / 8-out FIR speaker processor with linear-phase correction, Dynamic EQ and Dante networking in one rack space. Tune, protect and align your system from the front panel, or from native Mac and Windows software over USB or Ethernet.
Linear-phase precision. Real Big control. The RBA480D brings tour-grade loudspeaker management to any system. Four inputs feed eight outputs through 96 kHz / 24-bit processing on an Analog Devices SHARC DSP, with a fixed 2.1 ms system latency. Every input and every output has its own FIR filter of up to 512 taps, for linear-phase crossovers, magnitude correction and phase alignment between different speaker models. The built-in FIR Designer turns a measurement from Smaart, REW or a CSV file into a corrected, linear-phase filter in a few clicks, then sends it to as many channels as you need at once. Each input has 15 bands of parametric EQ, 3 bands of Dynamic EQ and a noise gate. Each output has 10-band EQ, Butterworth, Bessel and Linkwitz-Riley crossovers up to 48 dB/oct, and a compressor and limiter to protect your drivers. Delay of up to 2000 ms per channel and a flexible routing matrix let you time-align and distribute your system exactly. Each input can take an analog or AES3 signal, chosen per input. Dante network audio, with redundant primary and secondary ports, connects the RBA480D to modern audio networks. Thirty onboard presets, a backlit LCD and a full front panel with per-channel metering keep you in control on site. Control it from RBALabs DSP Control, our native Mac app with console-style dBu metering, rotary encoders and typed values on every parameter, a full-width 20 Hz – 20 kHz EQ graph and a quick panel on every input for phase, mute and source, or from the included Windows software. You can also control it from third-party systems over RS232.Key Features
